Flint Jiu Jitsu head instructor is Mike York. He is a Marcello Monteiro Black Belt by way of Dan Allen, Dan Cousineau and Carl Rowe. Mike has 20 years experience along with multiple years experience teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The technical aspect of Jiu Jitsu is of extreme importance. Being able to relay the technical aspects to the student in a way they understand is also of extreme importance so they will be able to apply what they have learned under pressure. Some of the photos you see are of Mikes son Ethan York. Ethan is a competitor and under Mikes instruction Ethan became a high level Competitor / Practitioner at a very young age. He would commonly train and compete with larger and more experienced practitioners. Mike became confident enough to put Ethan with anyone in any division from the time Ethan was 14 years old. We would like to give the same quality Jiu Jitsu to you. 

Our Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program is structured around being Disciplined in our training and effective under pressure.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has proven to be the most effective and practical martial art, and so useful in Law enforcement it should be mandatory. Our program has shown great success in putting Officers on the road that are proficient in Jiu-Jitsu which makes the Officer themselves safer along with the Community as a whole. 

Flint Jiu Jitsu and FWC Berston Boxing Club has partnered to create what has proven to be a highly effective Mma program. Our style/system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu works and mixes very well with the Fwc style/system of Boxing to make our fighters dangerous in every position of the Fight. Flint Jiu Jitsu head Mma / Jiu-Jitsu instructor is Mike York. Fwc head Boxing Coach is Jason Crutchfield who has coached in the USA Boxing Olympics and Professionals.
